How Premier placements work
The calibration rule
Premier hides your CS Rating until you collect ten wins. Those blind matches are the calibration, and they set your opening number.
When you need this
New season or a fresh account: the rating is not unlocked yet, and you want to start from a respectable tier instead of digging up from grey.
What strong placements save
The better the calibration goes, the higher the season starts. Every tier gained here is a rating range you never pay to climb later.
